Nice to meet you

My name is Virginie. That’s the French spelling of my name, but call me Virginia if that is easier. I answer to both. For years, I lived as I thought people wanted me to act. I worked in accounts, with numbers all day. In some ways, it was a bit like playing Sudoku, so that was fun. 

 But one day, I realised that there was more to life than living it the way I thought I or others expected me to. Since, I have realised what I really love doing: writing and photography. I have embarked on an amazing journey of learning to develop the passions I have. If you are passionate about something, go after it. That is who you really are.

You will see from the articles I post, that I am also a Christian. I love the Lord but I am not religious. I was for many years until one day, I discovered God’s unconditional love for me. I discovered His amazing grace, in truth, not only as a nice song to sing. That was the reason for writing my first book: “Effortless”. Too many Christians have been hurt by religion and have given up. They have become shy of churches. They believe in God but they are lonely not knowing who to trust and what the Truth about God is. I have some messages in the resource section, some are mine (excuse the French accent. It shows up when I am nervous) and some are from Ken Legg, a very good friend of ours who is an amazing teacher of God’s word.

I have three more projects now, which you can see in the section below and I have started this blog. The aim of this blog is to present to you short articles on different subjects, such as:

  • Jesus’ sacrifice at the Cross, what does it mean?
  • Am I eternally secured when I have put my trust in Jesus?
  • Do I have hope in a hopeless world, for this world is getting gloomier and gloomier by the day?
  • What is God ‘s unconditional love? Is it for me?
  • What is God’s amazing Grace?
  • What is faith?
  • And any other subjects you might want answers for

upcoming projects

I am writing a non fiction book that will be entitled “Simply Grace”. Every time we encounter people and we ask them what they understand about grace, their answers are so different. In this new book, I have gone back to Paul’s epistles to find what Paul said about the Grace of God

My second project is a fiction book for YA. It is the story of a young lady who had lost her memory and find herself plunged into an quest for the Sword of Truth. In the midst of her adventure, she will discover who she is and what the purpose of her life is really for.

The third project is a photo book (you guessed it. It is my second passion after all). It is going to be called “In the sunshine of His love.” It is about what love is and more particularly what the love of God means to us.
